The date of the Bike Prague race has been changed for 2017. The sixth edition of the event will take place on Saturday, 20 May 2017. Like last year, the race will start from the grassy area at the Galerie Butovice shopping centre and the course will again offer the most beautiful scenery of the Český kras protected landscape area. For the upcoming edition, the organisers are preparing several new features on the trail. Cyclists will have the chance to see completely new, uncommon places and they needn’t worry about the presence of solo forest trek riders.
“We’re pleased that Bike Prague is so popular among cyclists and annually attracts numerous racers, both from the elite ranks as well as those who only ride occasionally and what to experience the race atmosphere. For the next, sixth edition, we have prepared several new features and changes on the course, so the riders really have something to look forward to,” says David Douša of the RAUL agency, which is organising the race. A fourth wave for laid-back cyclists who are not in a hurry to get anywhere from the start will be newly introduced.
Cyclists can again decide in the course of the race whether they will ride the long (65km) or short (35km) trail. Courses ranging from 350 metres to three kilometres are prepared for the smallest racers. Race participants can look forward to top-quality service in the facilities on the trail, where an extensive accompany programme will also be available throughout the day of the race.
Registration of the sixth edition of Bike Prague is being launched exactly seven months before the event so that cyclist can already plan the next cycling season. Racers will pay a discounted starting fee until the end of the year. Register via the SportID system by 31 December 2016 and you will compete for a fee of only CZK 400.
